Second National Forum for Sustainable Development: Public Private Partnership

5-6 June 2003, Ploiesti

The Forum was supported by the partnership between UNDP, the Romanian Federation of Local Authorities, the City Council of Ploiesti and Unilever.

The main results were:

• More than 250 participants, bringing together high-level representatives of central and local authorities, NGOs, multinational companies and international organizations;

• Commitment to identify possible public-private partnerships to sustain the achievement of the main goals of the LA21;

• Exchange of experience on the establishment of successful public-private partnerships in Romania.
